Get Involved!
Volunteer: As a concensus-based volunteer collective, Wetlands volunteers are our leaders. Volunteers define the direction of the group, choose its projects and direct all its activities. Anyone willing to put their time into campaigns promoting ecological sustainability and justice for human and nonhuman animals is welcome to joint our volunteer collective. Learn more here.
Intern: For many years we've run a highly respected internship for students and others who want activist experience. We have long-standing relationships with many NYC high schools, are recommended to students at universities throughout the country and even overseas. We've had students come from as far as France and Australia to participate in our internship program. Learn more here.
Donate Money or Supplies: As an independent non-profit organization, Wetlands receives no government or corporate funding. We rely on the support of caring people to donate money online or by mail to cover our expenses - rent, phones, internet, copies, faxes, etc. Contributions are fully tax-deductible. We also accept donations of supplies. Find out how to donate supplies and what supplies we need here.
